Die Tests können nicht in einem echten Aquarium mit Tieren durchgeführt werden, da die Tiere ständig Phosphat erzeugen. Deshalb haben wir eine Testumgebung mit Tricalciumphosphat geschaffen. Wir haben 326,6 mg Tricalciumphosphat zu 100L Meerwasser hinzugefügt, um den Phosphatgehalt auf 1,0 ppm (±0,03) zu bringen. Wir haben 60 ml der Absorptionsmittel in die Testbecken gegeben, wobei ein mittlerer Wasserfluss durch eine Gyre-Pumpe zugeführt wurde. 2. Drei (3) Wasserproben wurden 8 Tage lang alle 24 Stunden aus jedem Becken entnommen. Aus den drei Wasserproben wurde der Mittelwert errechnet.
